12/21/2023 0 Comments A quiet place 2 ending![]() We’re certainly glad that Form and his partners decided to give Krasinski a chance, as he was most definitely the right choice. ‘Why is that chair there?’ He would instantly have a detailed answer as to how it related to the Abbot family and why it was there. You could ask John any question about an object on set. We give them a level of protection that they might not otherwise have. So in essence, our company was founded on supporting first- and second-time filmmakers. Our company was founded by Michael Bay after Jerry Bruckheimer gave him his first opportunity. “Once he started talking about the material, we saw that his insights were really smart and we were inspired. Furthermore, he touched on why Krasinski was the right man for the job. Part II is utter shit! And I can go on and on about the nonsense that took place in part II.The producer also disclosed that the original script Dunes received from co-writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods was only 67-pages long and included drawings and a map. ![]() Writers need to start giving characters real incentive for their behaviour, or write circumstances that force their behaviour, so their behaviour actually mimics what real people would do under certain circumstances. Seriously? This is good writing? This is what you guys call good cinema? Give me a break. You just want to stretch your good leg, leaving your new-born, defenceless brother alone while you do so. You're going to get up on your one good leg, and go limping around exploring. Your perfectly healthy mother tells you to stay here with your helpless baby brother, so she can go out and find oxygen. ![]() You're in a post-apocalyptic nightmare with creatures you barely understand, and they're everywhere. I might as well try to be of some good while I'm alive, and give it my best shot. And given enough time alone and unable to hear, she won't live long anyway. That's real incentive there - she now has absolutely nothing to lose. For instance, when the first creature appeared after her brother's foot got stuck in the bear trap, while running through the building, there's a cave in and the little girl becomes separated from her family. If they want to take such an approach, make it make sense. That's just not how people behave, period. And even if there was one (and I'm sure a handful exist - maybe 1 in a couple hundred million) who'd leave their sick, injured brother, new born brother and mother, to trek over a sizeable distance, who can't hear a thing, on a land swarming with menacing creatures - she wouldn't get very far (as was seen in the train scene), and the only a handful of men would go out looking for her. NO little girl is going to do what that girl did none. I absolutely deplore movies that need human beings to behave completely unnatural for their to even be a story. This movie, outside of the cinematography and scenes, is garbage. The first movie was stellar, in almost every way. People really enjoyed this? This movie was utter nonsense, period. I understand everyone's opinions differ, so this was just my personal reactions to the film. His bravery at the end brought his story full circle, and was satisfying to me. This ties into the beginning when the son is so hesitant and scared of the baseball. It set out to tell the story of the kids being able to be brave and fend for themselves. I understand the complaint that the movie ended abruptly, but to me it was perfect. Similarly, I felt like we knew all we needed to know about Cillian's character and the people on the island. More scenes with more horrible humans wasn't necessary. The part with the humans at the dock was short but pretty horrific. Similarly, at the end in the radio room, will she get there before the alien kills Cillian and/or her? Sure, we know the classic movie ending will have her survive, but again, for me it was a scene of tension. I saw the Cillian save coming, but it didn't make it any less tense for me. So on the train, she uses the frequency trick, but she's unable to balance the shotgun, she really doesn't stand a chance at all. Sure, they know how to kill the monsters now, but it's a classic case in movies of knowing the plan, but knowing now how it can go wrong. The boy and baby getting locked in the metal bin as oxygen slowly runs out intercut with what's happening with the daughter and Cillian and also with Emily Blunt had me white knuckling it. I find it crazy that you said there were no moments of tension.
